In New Delhi, police reported that the CEO of an online shopping company named Vivek Gaur was arrested for cheating cases. The arrest took place in Gurgaon, Sector 54. The company had received investments from small businesses and investors both in India and abroad. It procured raw materials from small businesses in the Delhi-NCR region and issued cheques in exchange. The company eventually declared insolvency and shut down, leading to five complaints against Gaur. Police mentioned that back in 2011, Gaur and an associate had started an online shopping company in Gurgaon. Gaur served as the CEO while his friend was the COO of the company, which specialized in online retailing of garments and accessories.
